How to Compare CNG and Petrol Cost
CNG is sold per kg and petrol per litre, so compare them by cost per km. Divide the CNG price per kg by your car’s km per kg on CNG. Divide the petrol price (Rs 381.14/L) by your km per litre. The lower figure is the cheaper fuel for your car. Remember to include the cost of the CNG kit and any loss of boot space.
